Brett Adam

Chief Technology Officer, rPath

Brett has more than 20 years of experience in the software industry, spanning software architecture, engineering, product management, marketing, sales and corporate development. Prior to joining rPath, Brett served as CTO and vice president of engineering for Versata, Inc., acquired by Trilogy, Inc. in 2006. A serial entrepreneur, Brett has founded three technology companies, including Verve, Inc., an early leader in the embedded business process engine space, which he brought to profitability and sold in late 2000 without external investment. Brett studied computer science and psychology at the University of Melbourne, Australia. As CTO of rPath, Brett is responsible for driving strategic direction for the company’s technologies and business objectives.

Amy Anderson

Manager, Cloud Computing Partner Program, IBM

Amy works in IBM’s ISV & Developer Relations organization, which has a successful track record in delivering valuable benefits and services for partners. This year, she and her team launched the Cloud Specialty, a program that lets partners interact with IBM based on the partner’s needs for cloud computing, rather than IBM’s organizational structures. In addition, her team helped launch a new cloud-friendly pricing model, new cloud enablement roadmaps for ISVs, and a business model self-assessment tool for ISVs.

Brian Anderson

Director, Global Business Development, Dell

Brian Anderson is a Global Business Development Executive and Technology Strategist from multiple disciplines including enterprise software, hardware, capital equipment and management consulting. An aficionado of cloud-based computing, Brian’s vision has helped multiple Software-as-a-Service companies identify, create and deploy successful go-to-market partner models. Brian is currently the Director, Business Development, Dell Cloud Business Applications. Previously Brian was with LucidEra, Blue Pumpkin, Metamor and FMC. Brian holds an MBA from The University of Chicago Graduate School of Business and an undergraduate degree from Georgetown’s School of Foreign Service.

Carolyn April

Director of Industry Analysis, CompTIA

Carolyn April joined CompTIA in April 2010. She previously served as Editor for Channel Insider, a Ziff Davis Enterprise publication focused on news, information and resources for IT resellers and system integrators. Prior to her tenure at Ziff Davis, April was a principal analyst for the Institute for the Partner Education & Development (IPED), an industry leader in IT channel consulting, research, and education analysis that is a division of Everything Channel. She was responsible for a wide range of research projects for IT vendors, distributors and other clients. April also served as executive editor of VARBusiness and editor at Redmond Magazine, which covers Microsoft technologies and the Microsoft user ecosystem. She also worked in editorial positions for InfoWorld and for daily and weekly newspapers in Massachusetts.

Jon Beck

SVP Worldwide Channels & Alliances, OpSource

Jon has held positions of increasing responsibility with companies such as Critical Path, Netcom (acquired by EarthLink), Global Center (acquired by Exodus), and Genuity (acquired by Level 3 Communications) and most recently as Chief Operating Officer at Pandora Networks, a leading VoIP messaging company where he managed marketing, sales and field support in the U.S. and U.K. Prior to joining Pandora Networks, he founded the consulting firm Top Bunk Consulting, providing sales, marketing and operations consulting services to, among others, Click Commerce and Aurema. Jon earned his BA in psychology from the University of California, Berkeley.

Eileen Boerger

Since joining Agilis Solutions in 2000, Eileen has been responsible for the delivery of its outsourced engineering services. Eileen has managed the outsourcing of software development and maintenance projects to Vietnam, India and New Zealand. Prior to joining Agilis, Eileen was VP of Operations at QualityLogic. She has also held management positions at Mentor Graphics Corporation, and was President of Software Technology at Unisys Corporation. Eileen is a member of the Oregon Engineering and Technology Industry Council (ETIC), the Board of Directors of the Software Association of Oregon (SAO), and the Women in Technology International (WITI) Foundation. Eileen has been recognized by Open Computing magazine as one of the “Top 100 Women in Computing.”

Chris Bucholtz

Editor-in-chief, CRM Outsiders, SugarCRM

With 17 years as a technology and business under his belt, Chris took over the role of editor in chief of SugarCRM’s CRM Outsiders blog in 2011. He first focused on customer relationship management as the editor of InsideCRM, then moved to Forecasting Clouds in 2009 to continue honing his views on how the discipline of CRM can impact the entire business. Before becoming a CRM influencer, Chris covered a variety of technology topics. He was the editor of Semiconductor Manufacturing Magazine, senior editor of technology for VAR Business, senior editor at HP World and intelligence and software editor for Telephony.

Stephen P. Cho, Ph.D.

Director, Channels and Business Development, Google Enterprise

As Director of Channels and Business Development for Google Enterprise, Stephen Cho is currently responsible for bringing new products to Google’s channel partners.  He originally launched the Google Apps Reseller program in 2009 with responsibility for developing reseller, solutions, and services partners in North America and on a global basis for Google Apps (Gmail, Calendar, Talk, Docs, Sites, Video, …).  These partners now include well over 2,000 VARs, IT consultants, large professional services firms, global systems integrators, ISPs and telecom providers, and a broad range of SaaS vendors and Cloud Service Providers.

At Google, Stephen was previously Director of Product Management for Google Apps and Partner Products for a range of products and partners (telco/ISP, media/portal, social, mobile, OEM), Director of Online Sales and Operations responsible for millions of Google Apps users and online customers, and Director of Content Partnerships responsible for business development around YouTube/Google Video, Google Maps/Earth, Google Books/Scholar, and new areas, including non-music audio, government content, and news.  Prior to Google, Stephen held a number of leadership roles at Cisco, McKinsey & Co., and the Boston Consulting Group.

Rhianna Collier

Vice President Software Division, Software and Information Industry Association (SIIA)

In her role, Rhianna assists software companies in strengthening the collective voice of the industry globally; identifying and addressing common challenges facing the industry; and developing the strategic relationships vital to competing and succeeding in today’s marketplace. Prior to SIIA, Rhianna was Assistant Vice President for Scottish Development International, Scotland’s Economic Development Agency. At SDI, Rhianna played a pivotal sales role with an ambassadorial slant, promoting and representing Scotland in key sectors such as software, creative industries and energy.

Michael Crandell

Cody Crnkovich

Cody fell in love with the power of the Cloud while at Deutsche Bank as a member of the Internet and New Media banking group, and while working at several early SaaS startups.


Feyzi Fatehi

CEO, Corent Technology

Corent Technology is a disrupting innovator in Cloud Computing. He has 25 years of experience building high performance organizations at HP and three software start-ups in Silicon Valley and in Southern California, ranging from $100M to $1M in valuation. He has been a keynote speaker around the globe as well as speaking at events at Harvard Business School, Wharton, Stanford, Pepperdine, Cal Tech, and UCLA. Feyzi was elected to the board of the Technology Council of Southern California in 2007, and has served as the Chairman of its Orange County Chapter since 2008. He is also a member of the UCI Chief Executive Roundtable.

Tim FitzGerald

Tim FitzGerald serves as vice president, technology solutions practices for Avnet Technology Solutions, Americas. In this role, he oversees the development and growth of Avnet’s technology practices, which are designed to help solution providers solve their customers’ challenges in the data center. Specialty practices include cloud, security, storage optimization, networking, and mobility. Mr. FitzGerald joined Avnet in 1989 and has held positions of increasing responsibility in solution sales, marketing and alliances across the organization. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in business management and marketing from Cornell University.

Russell Hertzberg

Vice President, SaaS and ISV Solutions, SoftServe

Russ Hertzberg has 12 years continuous experience in executive and entrepreneurial product ownership roles in Cloud Computing. From 1997 to 2000, through technology acquisition, he developed, managed, and grew the most successful commercial managed hosting service in Scantron history. From 2003 to 2007, he was an operating angel in one of the first SaaS providers of on demand document and data sites. From 2008 to 2011, he provided consulting services for a series of Cloud Computing projects including the Workxpress PaaS, the M86 email and web security Cloud, and the Aria Systems SaaS billing and subscription management platform. Russ joined SoftServe Inc. in May of 2011, as Vice President, SaaS and ISV Solutions.

Ron Huddleston

Senior Vice President, ISV Alliances,

In his position, Ron leads the organization that is responsible for cultivating and managing’s relationships with partners building solutions utilizing technologies, with a focus on supporting cloud computing development efforts on the platform. This growing partner specialist team has a singular focus on partner success.

Ron joined in 2009, following more than a 13-year career at Oracle in channel development and direct sales management, with the last five years spent as the vice president of ISV and OEM sales. During his tenure, Ron grew the program to more than 2,000 North American-based OEMs and ISVs, and managed almost $200 million in partner business with an average YOY growth of 25%.

Ron has a Bachelor degree in Economics from the University of California at Berkeley.

Brian Matsubara

Sr. Manager, Business Development–ISV Programs, Amazon

Brian has greater than 12 years of diverse experience pushing emerging technologies into the enterprise market in commercial and open source software, direct and channel sales, large technology companies, as well as start-ups. He started at Visio Corporation and joined Red Hat in 2000 to help build the enterprise sales efforts. Brian transitioned to Microsoft in 2004 to work in the embedded systems OEM group. Brian jumped into the start-up world with rPath delivering server software in the form of virtual appliances. In 2009, Brian joined Amazon Web Services’ partnering efforts with ISVs.

Louis M. Naugès

Co-founder and “Chief Cloud Evangelist” of Revevol (Revolution - Evolution)

Revevol, founded in 2007, is an international “Cloud Aggregator,” a Cloud pure player, working with some of the largest Cloud/SaaS providers: Google Enterprise, Salesforce, Amazon, Cordys… With subsidiaries in 17 Countries, in 4 Continents, Revevol does technical integration and change management for medium and large organizations, with a strong focus on International ones. Revevol is a good example of a new breed of companies the Gartner Group has defined as ILCS : Industrialized Low Cost Services. Rick Nucci

CTO, Dell Boomi

As the CTO of Dell Boomi, Rick Nucci is responsible for product management and engineering. He is considered an industry expert on SaaS & Cloud integration, multi-tenant architecture, and API design and best practices. In his role at Dell Boomi, Rick is constantly engaged with customers and partners to ensure alignment between business needs and Dell Boomi’s product strategy. Prior to founding Dell Boomi, Rick worked for EXE Technologies, a market leading supply chain execution software company, in the areas of product development and implementation. It was in this role that Nucci learned first-hand the cost and complexity of integrating disparate applications and business partners.

Ron Papas

General Manager, Informatica Cloud Business Unit, Informatica Corporation

Ron Papas is general manager of Informatica’s Cloud Business Unit and is responsible for delivering Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) and Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) integration solutions. Papas joined Informatica in 1996 as the company’s first sales representative and has held several executive positions including vice president of Sales, senior vice president of Alliances and senior vice president of Business Development. Prior to Informatica Papas spent five years at Sybase in various sales and pre-sales roles. Papas has over 25 years of experience in the enterprise software industry and started his career as a software engineer with Gould Computer Systems Division.

Papas holds a Bachelor of Engineering Degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from Stevens Institute of Technology in New Jersey.

Sonal Puri

Vice President of Marketing and Sales, Aryaka

Sonal has more than 15 years of experience in Internet Infrastructure in corporate and business development, channels, sales, and technical marketing. Previously, Sonal headed business development and corporate strategy for Akamai’s Application Acceleration business unit and was a member of its Corporate Development team, where she led Akamai’s $15M acquisition of Red Swoosh. Sonal managed global business operations, channels, and business development for Speedera Networks, acquired in 2005 by Akamai Technologies for $500 million. She has also held key management roles in sales, marketing and IT at Inktomi, CAS and Euclid. She has spoken at SaaSCon, Aberdeen Summits and other conferences.

Amanda Roberts

Amanda has 15 years of enterprise software experience, with a focus on CRM, Knowledge Management and next-generation customer success technology solutions. David Roth

David brings more than 20 years of experience leading organizations and leveraging partnerships for building successful companies. He sets the AppFirst strategic direction and guides the day-to-day business execution. Prior to AppFirst, David was CEO at Trigence (now AppZero), an application virtualization company, where he established the company’s success with quarter over quarter revenue growth through enterprise adoption and closed two rounds of venture capital. In 2003, David took on the role of Vice President, Services and Business Development at Consera, an IT automation company. As the Founder and CEO of Stratis Group, David built teams that drove the growth of this eBusiness B2B solutions company throughout the late 1990s.

Daniel Saks

President and CEO, AppDirect

Daniel is focused on the growth and development of AppDirect including building relationships with customers and partners. He received a BA from McGill University in Political Science, and studied Finance and Accounting at Harvard. He gained experience at Viant Capital, a boutique investment bank providing sell-side advisory services technology companies, and RBC Dominion Securities. He’s also been involved in several other entrepreneurial ventures. Beyond his entrepreneurial endeavors, Dan is a travel enthusiast, a big hockey fan, and enjoys contemporary architecture, impressionist paintings, and Chinese art from the Qing Dynasty.

Colleen Smith

Vice President, SaaS, Progress Software

Progress Software is a global supplier of software infrastructure and services. Colleen is responsible for strategic planning for Progress and its global partner channel. She has 25 years of enterprise software marketing, sales, and product strategy experience, and has helped transform software companies into industry leaders, built strategic partnerships, and moved companies through aggressive growth stages. Colleen holds a bachelor’s degree in Business and Computer Information Systems from Stonehill College, and an MBA from Northeastern University. She has published many research articles on technology best practices and is a frequent guest speaker at Industry events. Her current area of focus/expertise is on SaaS/Cloud and the growth opportunities associated with this new business model.

Paul Staelin

VP Customer Success, Birst

Birst is the leading Software-as-a-Service business intelligence provider. In his role, Paul is responsible for ensuring the success of each of Birst’s customers and manages Birst’s services, support, training, operations and customer success teams to that goal. Prior to co-founding Birst, he built and managed Siebel’s Sales Analytics product line, overseeing its growth from start to over $40 million in annual license revenue. Previously, Paul co-founded emPower Corporation and served as its President.

Paul holds a BS from Yale, an MS from MIT and an MBA from Stanford, where he was an Arjay Miller scholar.

Mark Weiner

Senior VP Worldwide Marketing, Virtela

Mark is responsible for Virtela’s global marketing strategy. He has over twenty years of leadership and industry experience in the data center and networking markets. Prior to Virtela, Mark led marketing at Cisco across multiple data center business units and $1 billion of revenue, and successfully launched Cisco into the WAN optimization market. Previously, Mark was VP of Worldwide Marketing at NetScaler, a pioneer in application delivery acquired by Citrix Systems for $325 million. Earlier in his career, he spent several years in telecommunications, serving as VP of Worldwide Marketing at Redback Networks.

Shlomo Weiss

Senior Director of Business Development, SafeNet

Shlomo Weiss leads business development for the Software Rights Management unit at SafeNet, where he manages the business development team that is responsible for global strategic partnerships and for driving new business initiatives. In this function, Shlomo played a key role in the launch of Sentinel Cloud Services, SafeNet’s first cloud service offering, that enables cloud application vendors to effectively monetize their cloud services. Shlomo joined SafeNet via SafeNet’s acquisition of Aladdin Knowledge Systems in 2009, where he headed strategic business for Aladdin’s Software DRM unit. Prior to Aladdin, Shlomo held senior leadership positions in business development, marketing, and sales at Emblaze Mobile, Comverse’s Wydeband unit, and Multiple Zones.

Gil Zimmermann

CEO and Co-Founder, CloudLock

Prior to founding CloudLock, Gil was an Entrepreneur-In-Residence (EIR) at Cedar Fund. He has over 20 years of experience in the IT systems and storage markets and an extensive background in building high-growth businesses, both domestically and internationally. Gil has held key business positions in both small and large companies (Backweb, Sun Microsystems, EMC Corporation), beginning his career in the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) with several technology leadership positions in the Military Intelligence Elite Computer Projects Unit. Gil is the organizer of the Boston branch of, the world’s largest group of Israel-related entrepreneurs, executives and investors helping advance Israeli startups.
